Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and CHEN BOWEN, an individual operator based in Hong Kong (“ReelCrew”, “we”), who runs reelcrew.ai. By using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use ReelCrew.

3. Your photos and consent

  • You may only upload photos that you have the right to use, of people who have given you permission to create this video. Before every upload you confirm that you are one of the people shown or have permission from everyone shown, and that everyone shown is 18 or older; we keep a record of that confirmation.
  • You must not upload a photo of anyone who has not given you permission, including an ex-partner, colleague, classmate, stranger, celebrity or other public figure, or anyone under 18. Creating or sharing a romantic or intimate video of a real person without their consent may be illegal where you live.
  • Uploaded photos are checked automatically: every human face is checked, and we reject photos in which anyone appears to be under 18, that appear to show a celebrity or public figure, that show a person whose face cannot be checked, or that show more than a few people. Each video needs at least one real adult with a clearly visible face; in two-photo templates the other photo may show a pet, an animal or a cartoon character. These checks are automated, can make mistakes in both directions, and do not shift your responsibility for what you upload.
  • Photos, any text you enter and generated videos are checked automatically for sexual, violent and other prohibited content. We may refuse a photo, or withhold and delete a generated video, if the check flags it; if you paid for a withheld video, the payment or credit is returned. Automated checks can make mistakes in both directions and do not shift your responsibility for what you upload.
  • You may not use ReelCrew to create content that is sexual, harassing, defamatory, hateful, deceptive (for example passing a video off as real footage to mislead), or otherwise unlawful.
  • You keep whatever rights you have in your photos. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit them (including to our AI providers) only to generate and deliver your video.
  • You are responsible for what you upload and how you use the result, and you will compensate us for claims caused by your breach of these rules.

If we believe you broke these rules, we may delete your videos, suspend your unused credits, permanently block your Google account, email address, browser and network from ReelCrew, and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

Blocked accounts and unused credits. If we block your account because you broke these Terms — for example by uploading photos of someone without their permission, of a minor, or of a public figure, or by trying to get around our checks — any unused paid credits are forfeited and will not be refunded, and videos you created may be removed. This does not apply if we blocked you by mistake: if you believe our automated checks got it wrong, email support@reelcrew.ai within 30 days, and if we agree we will restore your account or refund your unused credits to your original payment method. If a payment appears to have been made without the cardholder's permission, we refund that payment in full. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

If a video of you was made without your consent, report it on our reporting page or email report@reelcrew.ai. We remove reported videos as soon as possible and within 48 hours of a valid request.

4. Daily credits and free previews

  • Users signed in with a verified Google account can claim one free daily credit per day (currently 1). A daily credit makes one watermarked preview; it cannot be used to download the full-quality file.
  • Daily credits expire at midnight UTC on the day they are claimed and do not accumulate. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or refunded, and are not purchases.
  • One person, one account. Using several accounts, browsers, networks or automation to claim more credits, or any other attempt to get around limits, is not allowed and may lead to a block.
  • Free previews are limited per network and overall each day. We may change or end daily credits and free previews at any time.

5. Payments

  • Prices are shown before you pay: $9.99 for one full-quality video without the preview watermark, $19.99 for three. Payments are one-time (no subscription). Prices exclude taxes; any applicable taxes are handled in accordance with applicable law and, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
  • ReelCrew (CHEN BOWEN) is the seller of your order. At checkout you choose how to pay: card payments (including Apple Pay or Google Pay where shown) and Link are processed by Stripe, and PayPal payments by PayPal, under their own terms; they are payment processors, not sellers. Your card statement shows the name set up with the payment provider for ReelCrew. ReelCrew provides the video service itself and remains responsible for it. We never see or store your full card number or PayPal login.
  • You can pay to unlock a preview you have already made, or pay first and generate straight away.
  • A 3-video pack unlocks the current video and adds 2 paid credits. If you are signed in with Google, paid credits are saved to your Google account; if you buy without signing in, they are stored in your browser (cookie) and move to your Google account the next time you sign in on that browser. Credits held only in a browser are lost if you clear cookies before signing in. Paid credits do not expire and have no cash value.

6. Refunds

  • If a video you paid for cannot be delivered, we refund automatically: the full price of a single video, the price of one video for a 3-pack (the 2 remaining credits stay usable), or the credit you used.
  • Because each video is generated individually and the preview lets you judge the result before paying to unlock it, other refunds are at our discretion. Email support@reelcrew.ai within 14 days of purchase.
  • If neither of the 2 extra credits from a 3-video pack has been used, you can ask for a refund of the difference between the pack price and the single-video price ($19.99 − $9.99) within 14 days of purchase; the 2 credits are then removed. Once one of them has been used, or after 14 days, remaining pack credits can't be refunded, but they never expire.
  • Nothing in these terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
  • If you live in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because we start generating your video as soon as you pay, at checkout we ask you to agree to immediate delivery and to confirm that you lose the right to withdraw once the video has been delivered. Pack credits you haven't used yet can still be refunded within 14 days as described above.
  • If your account is blocked for breaking these Terms, unused paid credits are handled as described in Blocked accounts and unused credits.
  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through the provider that processed it (Stripe or PayPal). Please ask within 14 days of payment by emailing support@reelcrew.ai.
  • Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. If a chargeback is filed, we may suspend access to the related video and remove unused credits from that order while it is resolved.

7. AI-generated content

  • Videos are synthetic and created by an AI model from your photos (MiniMax video models, used through MiniMax’s own international API service). Results vary; faces, motion and details may not be accurate, and we do not guarantee any particular result.
  • Subject to these terms and the AI provider’s terms, you may use the videos you create for personal and commercial purposes. To the extent we have any rights in the output, we assign them to you. We cannot promise that AI output is protected by copyright in your country.
  • Every video carries a visible “AI-generated” label and AI-generated metadata. Do not remove, crop out or obscure the label or metadata, and do not present videos as real footage in a way that could mislead others. Platforms you post to may require their own AI-content labels; that is your responsibility.
  • Music in the videos is licensed for use within the video only; you may not extract it and use or distribute it separately.
  • We show videos in our public gallery only if you opt in, and you can withdraw that at any time.

8. Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. Videos are deleted after 30 days — download what you want to keep.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Hong Kong, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
